An award winning destination street market that reclaims the beautiful cobbled streets of Frome with a
cornucopia of shopping delights. This wonderfully colourful and exciting event showcases many of the
best independent craftspeople, food producers and vintage traders in the south-west; all enlivened by live
music and DJ sets. Please be aware that the market can get very busy.

A free Park and Ride service operates on Frome Independent market days from Frome Medical Practice and Selwood Academy.
The market is split into different sections:
- Designer-maker and Suitcase Sale: individual handmade crafts and fashions from talented established and fledgling makers.
- Flea Market: vintage treasures of ornaments, fashions, furniture and homewares.
- Homes and Gardens: plants, gardenia and homewares.
- Food Section and Somerset Farmers: local and seasonal produce from Somerset growers and producers.
- Street Food: West Country and Frome-made pastries, dim sum, waffles, sandwiches and other tasty treats to whet your appetite while feasting your eyes on the vibrant market stalls.

A lively local market handily located in the centre of town complete with lots of grocery, ironmongery and garden stalls to explore. Local producers and traders of country meats, pet supplies, breads and pastries,
artisan cheeses, clothing and plants offer a wealth of colourful bargains; with hot food on offer to sample while you shop. A good amount of parking is available in the adjacent Mendip Council car park (charges
apply).

Rummage in vintage treasures to your heart’s content every Wednesday at the Cheese and Grain venue. Pre-loved jewellery, books, DVDs, ornaments, tools and artwork are all on offer in an ever-changing selection of retro nostalgia.
